Concept Music is an owner-operated music store that was established in 1980. Today, it is regarded as one of the leading stores in Australia and although we specialist in electric, acoustic, bass guitars and other related products we also enjoy a reputation for maintaining a quality stock (both new and second hand) at very reasonable prices. Concept Music also employs a drum specialist, a brass and wind expert and an in house guitar repair specialist.
The shop is beautifully laid out and possesses a spectacular range of instruments currently displayed in
its West Perth showroom. We are well worth a visit, even if it's just to browse or admire the large collection
of vintage guitars mounted Hard Rock Cafe style around the walls of the store. Whilst in the store, you may wish to view an instructional video from our massive collection of Tuition Videos on display. Out T.V. monitors run all day showing small snippets from the selection of videos for sale.
Concept Music is acknowledged throughout the music industry for its ability to continuously supply its customers with a high level of service. An extremely interesting and informative newspaper is published and distributed to our customers. (Phone, fax or email us with your details if you wish to receive this paper which is absolutely free!). In addition to the newspaper, we regularly conduct music clinics presented by product specialists and touring artists. Players that have appeared in our store over recent years include Steve Morse, Albert Lee, Tommy Emmanuel, Stu Hamm, Vinnie Moore, Dave La Rue, Jack Jones and Martin Taylor. Watch our "What's New" page to keep up with any upcoming events. The list of Brands represented is extensive (see Product Page) and a comprehensive range of Fender, Marshall, Gibson, Ibanez and Peavey is always on display and ready for a trial run. Associated with our retail store is a comprehensive Music School offering private lessons in our teaching studios on the premises with qualified and experienced teachers. Lessons are conducted during afternoons, evenings and Saturdays. All our teachers have been carefully selected to cater for the widest possible range of music tastes and styles. To date there are 12 expert teachers to choose from. Lessons are available in all types of instruments including guitar, bass, drums, piano (inc electronic synth/keyboards) vocals, brass and woodwind.
