Kidsafe Playgrounds across Queensland Kidsafe Qld is committed to increasing safety in play environments and to promoting the benefits of play for children. Kidsafe Qld has a range of playground resources to help prevent serious playground related injuries in Queensland. Resources include the Playspace Resource Kit and Industry Guide. These resources are available for use by parents, carers, schools, child care centres, councils and community groups. Please be aware that from October 2004 the new standard for playgrounds has been developed so any new equipment installed from this time needs to meet the new standard AS 4685: 2004 (Part 1-6).
