How To Log-in as a New Member/Customer

To sign up with Host Direct, please go to our Join page. Simply fill out your customer details (including your postal and delivery addresses, your fax and phone numbers, your email and website details, your payment options and your nominated freight carrier for all customers outside the Perth metro area) and submit the form. When your membership has been confirmed we'll email you back with your username and password.

How To Shop - Selecting Products

To start shopping, choose a product range from the options in the left panel by clicking it, or click "Buy Online" from the header and then choose a product range from the ones displayed.

You will be shown either a selection of product categories (or brands) within that range, or (if there is only one product category/brand) a list of products. If you are shown a list of categories/brands, select one by clicking it to be shown a list of products within that category.

Scroll through the product list until you find one that interests you. Click on "Click here for more information...". to see full details of the product. You can view a larger picture of the product by clicking it's image.

If you would like to purchase the product, enter a quantity in the quantity field (set to 1 by default) and click the "Add to Cart" button. Otherwise use your browser's "back" button to return to the product list.

If you add the product to your cart, you will be taken to a screen confirming that it's been added, and confirming the cost. From here click "View Cart" to view the contents of your shopping cart or "Checkout" to proceed to the checkout and pay for your purchases.

The Shopping Cart holds the products that you have selected. You can continue adding products to, or deleting products from the cart until you go through the checkout.

To view and change the items in your cart click the View Cart button. To empty your cart completely and start again, click the "Empty Cart" button on the View Cart page.

How To Order - Checkout

When you're happy with the items in your shopping cart, click Checkout to go to the checkout.

Select "Freight Option" if you are a new member or require a different delivery method or address than usual. Otherwise click "Confirm Freight Details".

A total cost will be shown which will automatically include your freight option and payment method plus GST. Please note that all our prices include GST.

How To Pay - Checkout

There are three methods of payment only - please note that no accounts are given in order to reduce the cost at which we can supply you. Once again Simplicity is our model.

1. On-Line Payment (goods are dispatched once fax confirmation provided)
2. Eftpos (over the counter sales only)
3. Credit Cards (Mastercard/Visa/American Express) - any costs charged by the credit card company are automatically added on to your price.

An additional 2% discount is provided off the cost before GST is you select to pay by methods one or two.
